The pizza here is subpar; it's nothing to write home about. Pizza here is always excessively greasy, regardless of what kind you get. The slices are rather large, which I'm sure is an attempt to make up for the subpar food. This place is definitely not on the top of my list of pizza places in Willow Grove.

We got takeout and my wonderful husband went to pick it up so it wasn't sitting in a delivery car for 30 minutes. Pizza was excellent, I really liked the crust. Wings were eh. WAY overcooked although we did request them well done. We thought it just meant crispy, not charred but live and learn. I would use them again for delicious takeout.

I ordered pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Delivery time was about 45 min on a Thursday. A little annoying, but not too bad cause they said it would be about 40 min. Pizza was good, but a little cold. Breadsticks left something to be desired. Rather bland and flavorless. I'd get the pizza again. Hopefully next time its a little warmer. An update from my previous review. I've since had some sandwhiches from here, a panini and an italian hoagie. Hoagie was very good, panini left someting to be desired. It was on a pita that was slightly grilled. To me a panini is served on thick bread. The pita was not sturdy enough and the meats and cheeses slid out all over the place. The fries that I ordered both times are to die for. Extra crispy topped with cajun seasoning and parm cheese. Delish!

This place is good. Staff looked a little lost. I got 2 slices of the tomato pie which was pretty good. Store is VERY clean as its brand new.

Ordered regular pizza, tomato pie, breadsticks and cheesesteaks - Tomato pie was soggy, pizza was tasteless - everything seemed to be bland yet overly salty at the same time - breadsticks were ok, dellivery was quick - will not order again

The food was mediocre and a bit overpriced. Tables were very dirty, we should have taken it to go. There are many better options for pizza within the area, skip this place.

Ordered the Caprese chicken panino. Contrary to the description there was no fresh mozzarella, only the sliced cold cut mozz. Also the tortilla chips were so stale they should have been thrown out (which is what I did with mine at least). Update: Within minutes of my posting this review, Franco posted his reply. IMO any business owner who is that attentive should be complimented. We all have off days. I plan on giving the Willow Grove Tony Roni's another go. Check them out!

Great pizza and salads. Always fresh and ready on time or delivered when promised. I hated my company's monthly meetings until they started ordering from Tony's. Now I look forward to them with great anticipation. My wife doesn't let me order pizza so hopefully she won't see this review but this place is great for eat in or takeout. Tony's pizza is my mistress and I love her.

Stopped by for lunch last week when working in the area. I had never heard of the place, but was in the mood for a sandwich so I gave it a shot. I ordered the meatball parm and sat down to wait. It wasn't real busy, but wasn't dead either. Seemed to me like it took a little longer than it should have, but I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind. The food left much to be desired. The meatballs were clearly not fresh, but frozen prepackaged. Lots of places do this, I know, but usually the meatballs have some flavor; these did not. The hoagie roll it came on was very soggy, to the point of the meatballs breaking through the bottom. I won't return to this place in the future.

Another fast easy dinner. Diver arrived on time pizza still warm and the kept the salad in the separate bag so it didn't get hot from the pizza. As always they have my business

Not happy paying 3.98 for a small order of fries plus .49 cents for side sauce. The two cheese steaks were ok and the cashier was nice

Good pizza but a sweet sauce which is not generally my favorite on a pizza. Good service. Pricey, but they offer coupons. Over all, would be nice if they started online ordering. You are already paying more than most places so might as well make it easier to order.

Mixed bag. The wings weren't good (but they gave us extra) but the barbecue chicken pizza was good. The fries were also pretty good. The inside is small, but nicely decorated (cool fireplace!). It's a bit pricey, but the portions are large. Service is OK- just your run of the mill pizza and wings place.

I've given this place too many chances because it's common for my work to order lunch from here but I've had it. Today was my final straw. I ordered a cheesesteak and curly fries from here and had to throw it away. The fries were the first thing I noticed weren't right. Took a bite into one and cold. Not cold cold, but cool. I said whatever even though a cheesesteak takes less time than fries so the cheesesteak should've been cooler. Well it wasn't but what I bit into was far worse. My first bite and I thought I was gonna break a tooth. I've had cheesesteaks before where I've maybe come across one or two hard pieces of most likely bone but after picking out piece after piece of rock hard pieces I almost threw up. After just 4 bites I had enough. I picked out probably 8-12 hard pieces which tells me two things, they don't use quality ingredients and they most likely don't eat this food themselves. I've had the pizza before and it's kinda like the pizza you would microwave. I will never return and I will gladly refer people elsewhere.

The tomato pie and the wings were pretty perfect. The pie's crust is crisp but better eat it all because it's not going to heat up like that again. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean. I like it!

I used Tony Roni's to cater my daughters graduation party. From start to finish it was a great experience. Allison , the catering person , was easy to work with and suggested just the right amount of food and combination of menu items. The food was ready and hot when I went to pick it up and the staff at the store was friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Lastly the food was fabulous and the guests were raving about it, especially the Panini's! The wings were also perfectly sauced extra meaty and delicious!! All my guests wanted to know where the food was from. Absolutely recommend it! Will definitely go back!!

Review of Tomato Pie only:Awesome!!! Can't say the same for their pizza, but it's quite alright. When we need Tomato Pie this is our spot.

Sister ordered a veggie pizza and two types of buffalo wings- hot and BBQ. The pizza was alright. Yes, not bad or anything but the toppings were a bit off putting in my mouth. The wings were good- the hot sauce just tastes like Frank's Red Hot to me. The BBQ sauce tasted good but I wouldn't be alarmed if it was from the bottle as well. Overall, alright food but left me scratching my head a bit.

Usually the only thing I ever get here is the tomato pie. The Sinatra one is my favorite and is good hot or cold. The staff is usually friendly. I really can't say how anything else is, but if you want a really good tomato pie, this is the place to go to.

I thought it was a pretty generic sandwich/pizza shop. Food was okay but I hear they are known for their tomato pies so maybe I will check that out and adjust the rating accordingly. If you're in the area and in the mood for some lunch foods then give it a go.

I have been to the City Ave Toni Roni's at least 20 times and decided to take my talents to the Willow Grove location. Store is brand new with great decor. As I come to expect, there were free samples on the counter of a sausage and peppers stromboli. I took my out of town parents here for a quick bite to eat and they were all very impressed. They loved the margherita pizza with slices of fresh mozzarella and tasty basil. I ordered my favorite which is the buffalo chicken personal stromboli. This one was HUGE and I was only able to eat half. My personal favorites for this local chain are the buffalo cheesesteak pizza, the tomato pie (best in Philly 2008) and any of their strombolis. Highly recommend (and hey you can't go wrong with a free sample as well).

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
